The We Are C.C. Celebration and Auction was a success because of your attendance and/or donations! The event was full of energy, great sounds, delicious food, wonderful company, and lot’s of bidding! Overall, we raised $56,460.62 (after expenses) which will be applied to this upcoming school years budget and technology upgrades. The event had a 67% increase in revenue raised over the previous year.
Some of the highlights of the evening were the raffle and games winners. The Kortz family, incoming freshman in 2010/11, won the big prize of the $5000 tuition credit for Catholic Central. D. Koepke, alum 1972, won the big 50/50 raffle, and the $2000 vacation raffle winner is a grandmother of Catholic Central alumni. To top off the evening we had Greg Lauria (CC ’89) act as auctioneer along with John Matlak (coach at C.C.) as emcee. What a night!
We are already looking to next year and plan on bringing our attendance numbers even higher. Remember, just attendance alone is a donation and aides in our success. The tentative date for next spring is March 12, 2011. Save the date!

Catholic Central does not charge the full cost of educating our students. The cost is covered via tuition, parish assistance, financial aid and fund raising efforts such as the "We Are C.C.” celebration.
